Put a Smile on Your Face

By Jed Koch | April 24, 2008

Put a smile on your face [44:12m]: Download

Bro Piercy Rev. M. Piercy encourages everyone with the message, “Put a Smile on Your Face.”  God uses challenges in our life to bring us through  to victory.  Illustrations of Moses  dealing with Pharaoh’ s hardened heart led Moses time and time again to see and finally trust that God was truly the great Deliverer.  He stood on the banks of the river, looked back at the enemy closing in and shouted, “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!”

Overcome all obstacles

Psalms 43 43:1 “Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.” 43:2 For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? 43:3 “O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.” 43:4 “Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.” 43:5 “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”

Bro Piercy plays the trumpet during service (iPhoneSlide) We have a song of celebration to sing everytime we gather for God wants us to trust and go through this life with a smile of faith.

You have to overcome your fears. Moses was asked by God to pick up a snake.

Moses was afraid to speak to Pharaoh

Exodus 4:1-5 4:1 “And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.” 4:2 “And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.” 4:3 “And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.” 4:4 “And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:” 4:5 “That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.”
